Out with the old...

Goodbye barbecue, thanks for the meaty memories...

Once a jolly swagman...

Okay, so there may not be too many days of camping beside this billabong but it will save us a 25m walk to the river for a dip.

People power

Apart from Hamish who is apparently always off 'loading the trailer', everyone never seems to stop work.

Montsalvat has moved...

Well, part of it anyway.  The roof iron was from one of Montsalvat's demolished sheds. Portrait anyone?

Pier to Pier

They may be a tad smaller but they'll always be 'Station Pier' and 'Mornington Pier' to us. Byo fishing rod and boat.

Walls

The gang use lots of clever tricks to move and place the heavy timber safely, and the space really starts taking shape. Did we mention we love our timber?

Holes n Poles

The build team (Hamish and crew: Sam, Mus and Jason) steal Bruce from Loretta and start drilling...along the way coming across a buried computer, a few items of clothing, a huge tree, a generator, etc! At least the bodies had decomposed...

History in the garden: Hamish very kindly parted ways with huge timber from the old Mornington Pier, Station Pier and Port Melbourne Pier. Couldn't get any better than that.

We love our TIMBER!
